Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid State of Louisiana Security Guard License
- Valid Louisiana driver’s license
- Minimum one (1) year of security guard experience (federal experience preferred)○ ○ Must pass U.S. Coast Guard background check
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8.5 hours per shift)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- First Aid/CPR certification
Training Requirements
- Minimum 78 hours of initial training (customer service, defensive tactics, inspections, emergency response, etc.)
- Semiannual Use of Force refresher training
- Annual refresher training (minimum 8 hours)

Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to thirty (30) pounds as necessary.
